A downtown Boise office serving the Treasure Valley

Our Boise office is at 800 West Main Street, Suite 1460, Boise, ID 83702. Call 844-244-9469 or contact the team to arrange a consultation before traveling to the office.

We serve Boise and nearby communities including Garden City, Meridian, Eagle, Kuna, Nampa, Caldwell, and Star. These are separate communities, not Boise neighborhoods, and this page does not describe additional office locations. Our Idaho page explains the broader statewide service area.

I-84, the Connector, and a regional commute

The February 2023 COMPASS I-84 Corridor Operations Plan describes I-84 as connecting Caldwell, Nampa, Meridian, and Boise, and I-184 as the auxiliary route into downtown Boise. Its study includes the Flying Wye interchange through South 13th Street. The plan documents corridor congestion and safety concerns despite earlier improvements; this is a regional planning finding, not a claim that every interchange is a crash hotspot. [1]

After a collision on I-84 or I-184, record the direction of travel, nearest exit, lane, and whether the event occurred on a ramp or the main roadway. Merging, changing lanes, and slowing traffic are circumstances worth documenting, not proof that any driver was negligent. Truck and delivery-vehicle claims may also require identifying a carrier and preserving vehicle or dispatch records.

Walking, cycling, and everyday trips in Boise

Downtown Main Street, the Boise River Greenbelt, and trips to Boise State University create different settings from a freeway collision. State Street is another useful location reference when explaining an incident. Eagle Road belongs to the wider Treasure Valley travel network, including Meridian and Eagle; it should not be confused with a downtown Boise street.

For a pedestrian or bicycle injury, write down the exact crossing, driveway, trail access, or street segment. Preserve photographs of signals, sightlines, lighting, and the location of each person or vehicle if it is safe to do so. These are evidence questions, not assertions that the named places have unusually high crash rates. A fall at a business or on a walkway calls for different evidence: the condition, who controlled the property, and any incident report.

Discuss the facts, not a promised outcome

Our team can discuss vehicle collisions, pedestrian and bicycle injuries, and unsafe-property claims. Medical records, missed-work documentation, photographs, and witness accounts help explain the impact. A road’s reputation alone does not establish responsibility.

Ask promptly about deadlines, especially if a public vehicle or public property may be involved. Idaho rules and the facts of the incident matter. This is general information, not legal advice; contacting the firm does not itself create an attorney-client relationship, and no result is guaranteed.

What to do after an injury

  1. Call 911 for an emergency and prioritize medical care. Do not remain in traffic to collect evidence.
  2. When safe, note the location, date, time, weather, witnesses, and responding agency or report number.
  3. Keep original photos, dashcam or ride data, damaged equipment, medical records, bills, and work-loss records.
  4. For a rideshare, save trip details; for a fall, report it to the property manager and keep a copy.
  5. Ask about preserving nearby footage promptly and understand any release or settlement before signing.
